I decided to join chopsticks because I felt like the core idea of the game was a lot of fun and I was inspired by the different directions that this project could go forward.

Also, I feel like this was a necessary move as I feel like I can be more of use to Chopsticks than my previous idea due to my previous idea's scope seeming too big for me to create on my own.

So my addition to Chopsticks will allow for faster development of Alex’s core idea whilst being able to grow in my own way by learning more about coding.

I decided to join Choptsticks for multiple reasons.

Firstly, the comedic concept of ‘using chopsticks instead of hands’ captured my imagination quickly, and I began thinking of multiple potential scenarios that could occur in-game. I knew Alex is capable in terms of art and has practiced 3D-modelling, whilst I consider my strengths at narrative design, mechanics and level design; so I was confident I could provide those skills.

In addition to this, I felt that I was incapable of completing my own project concept, as I lacked the artistic skills necessary for doing so, and had nobody with artistic skills approach me to work on my project. The scope was simply too much for me to do alone with my current skill-set.
